So I feel that this is a fair review, my ex partner had the house valued by Allen & Harris on 24th January 2017 at a much higher value than we had expected. Photographs were taken, come spring no offers so I telephoned Allen & Harris to ask if new photographs could be taken as the garden photo was taken in January had a frosty look and with the season changing I thought that if they were wanting to sell our house then that wasn't too much to ask for. I was very rudely told that if we wanted new updated photographs then we would have to pay for a professional photographer! As if we hadn't already been charged enough for their services. So finally in May we received an offer of 30,000 less than we had expected. Then the nightmare began, we continually had to chase and despite Kate promising to phone my self and my ex partner she seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Calls were NEVER returned! To our amazement Kate turned out at the house we were selling on the day of completion to make sure all was okay. If you are wanting to sell your house and looking for a pro-active team then please do not use the Devizes office.
