To be honest, not good at all, 5 adults and 5 children went for a 13-30 booked Sunday roast birthday meal, ordered drinks and then food was ordered by 13-50, which was a 50 minute wait till 14-40 for the food to arrive, which was consequently cold, all the meat, veg, even cauliflower cheese was cold only thing partially hot was the roast spuds, gravy Luke warm, when staff were informed all we got was a sorry, when the wife asked to speak to the manager it took 10 mins for him to turn up, only for him to say sorry as well, the wife said we will pay for the drinks, but nothing else, and we left, incidentally the adults meat and roast potatoe portions would have struggled to have fed the grandkids, left very disappointed, came home and had something to eat at home, les Carter
Service for food tend to be slow even on a quiet day
Me & ten of my colleagues visited last minute on a Sunday evening after one Devizes pub let us down last minute. I'm so glad we went to the Moonrakers instead!! Really nice meal, all come at the same time and all lovely fresh and warm.Couldn't recommend more! Compliments to the chef's!
We visited this place with 2 friends that visited us from Gloucester.The car park is fairly big with a disabled space.On arrival we were greeted by the manager and made aware of what foods went available which was only 2.The meals were lovely, really enjoyable, lots to choose from and a kids menu too.Toilets were clean, including the disabled one.The actual pub was very clean, and very nicely decorated.all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.There is a ramp they pull out for wheelchairs too.When the children had eaten the manager brought out some sweets and gave them to me and said "only if they've behaved" of course they had The bill was average for a family of 4.I will definately go there again.
